The second session has started! After the orientation and the presentation of the area to the new students, we started to investigate some of the tombs that we have identified at the end of last week. We are focusing  on the graves located in the northern portion of the area: UUSS 5077, 5076, 5075 and 5080. The fill US 5077 is made of silt and clay with many rocks and gravel and is immediately to the north of US 5076, smaller than the others. US 5075 and US 5080 are arranged on two different lines in the central portion of the area. In the next days we will continue to remove the fills of each grave exposing the skeletons.
